If you don't care about crafting and never plan on picking it up you can also sell all of the crystals you have, you're not using them for anything and depending on how long you've been playing you can easily make 1-2 million off of them.

Surprised nobody's mentioned maps. Obviously there is a heavy RNG involved, but one night between normal and hidden canals, I made 750k gil (not even counting selling drops) in 90-120 mins. And with a full map party, maps really aren't hard.
I don’t know why there is so much hate on FSH Gil making. I can average around 100 to 200k a day selling leve fish and tank fish. It’s not as bad as everyone says.
Spearfishing is good, it made things so much easier. For me, because baits wasn't free or directly available with gils. Jigs have to be crafted, scrip baits the worse. The amount of time spent preparing to fish aren't worth the real value on market. Gathering mats for crafting is long enough, crafting/gather to gather fish mats for crafting tho.. that extra step adds an exponential time/value.
You will get one of these maps each week for turning in 9 items of Wonderous Tails. The easiest gil maker, if you want to stick purely to battle jobs and never ever touch a single DoH/DoL job, is the Challenge Log. It should be enough to cover your teleport fees on a weekly basis if you're not that active. Speaking of teleport fees, you can buy Aetheryte Tickets with hunt seals, so they pay for themselves.
Alternatively, go treasure hunting. Dragonskin maps for level 60+ parties, and Gazelleskin maps for level 70. Without DoL classes, you won't be able to gather your own, but you can buy them off others, or just join parties that people are making, explain that you don't have a map of your own, and don't roll on loot from other peoples' maps. Each treasure chest gives, at minimum, 3k gil or so, and it only goes up from there.
Yeah buy oriental partitions from vendor in mor dhona and resell on market board for twice as much.
i couldn't disagree more
fisher is maybe the EASIEST way to make tons of money. just lvl this one class to 70, wich isn't even that hard or expensive, and then take some lvl 70 gear even without materia melds and start spearfishing...
dusklight aethersands go for 20k at my server, and they sell pretty good. i can fish like 100 within one to two hours, thats 2 mio gil. Ivory Sole for the Sushi everyone wants, Swordtip for the crafter buffood... that fisher can't make money is a myth.
If you really want to make gil - crafting and gathering really is the way to go. But I understand if you dont want to make the investment. It's a long way if you want to get to current stat and levels.
Fisher has always been a decent moneymaker. Combined with CUL desynthesis (maybe not so much nowdays since i only did it back in ARR) but Aethersands and selling some fishes is always been a good investment. Plus is a cheap class is always a good thing.i couldn't disagree more

Do Wondrous Tails for maps, minions and materia.
Hunts and Adventurer in Need leveling roulettes give cracked clusters.
Spend GC seals on Coke or other things.
Save cheap grade V and VI materia and convert them at Mutamix. Use 5 different materias of the same grade to maximize the chance to get something better.
Farming the level 44 dungeon unsynced for the gear can be worthwhile depending on the server.
Spend extra beast tribe tokens and uncapped tomes on crafting materials.
