Today I fell asleep through 24-man raid roulette as SCH

I took microsleeps through bosses, missed an entire encounter, accidentally pulled trash while holding down w key, ended up running into a wall during a couple boss fights (somehow not dying) then snapping too turning around and running to the boss who was usually on the opposite side of the room and started dpsing.

Pretty sure aeos did more throughput then I did the entire run.

And not only did I not get kicked I got 6 commendations.... lol? What gives ff14 communiy?

Since I swapped to DPS main, I no longer care what the healers are doing unless I'm derping bad and a particular healer is always there to save my ass. And when I top the charts (as informed by the voice of God) and nobody in particular is really an MIP for the run, I tend to drop it on one of the healers.

Maybe the other healers they'd seen that day were worse lol. I've had a healer doing microsleeps through most of an instance but they fell into full sleep before the end and didn't come back.

I do usually kick lazy/slacking co-healers so chances are... they've seen worse so they let it slide XD

I very nearly comm'd a healer that filled a dc slot after we'd already started the final boss, just for lulz.

That healer must've been happy for an easy chunk of exp for no work.

Considering how willing people are to not only ignore bad play or people being non-receptive to sorely needed advice on a job, but also defend said bad play or make excuses for it... not all that surprised. xD

Granted, we've probably all had microsleeps through dungeons at some point. I know a lot of the time before Skalla was added, I'd be on autopilot during Expert roulette even as a healer. x.x You just get to a level of tired where muscle memory takes over until Bad Things™ happen.

The 24 man roulette is very easy, unless someone is a newcomer, a group only needs 1 healer. I am guessing that your co-healer knows how to play and carried your part.

As for why you got 6 commendation there are alot of reasons:

- The group is a pre-made and gave you commendation, because they are not able to give it to one of their own.
- They dont care and just give away commendation (most of the time the person getting the commendation from those type of players are healers and tanks)
- They confused you with another healer, thinking that you did contribute.
- They were amused and gave you a commendation.
