I'm sick of these script kiddies, they need to get over themselves, I'm still going to play no matter how many times I DC.

I'm still playing despite this, they can't stop me, I'm stubborn haha, I like this game and a DDOS will not be changing that.
Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.
I, too, am still playing this during primetime hours despite the nonsensical amounts of lag and disconnects that make instanced content less than optimal (to say the least).
Despite the rumors I heard about this being some immature git that's unhappy with Unending Coil and wants to bring down the cometition, I understand that Jpn and Eu servers are fine? Furthermore, this accompanies the downtime on Comcast, which -was- reported:
https://www.engadget.com/2017/11/07/...-3-route-leak/
A "configuration error" they call it. IIRC, the NA data centers are in Sacramento since the move in May, and California as a whole is split between Scpectrum and Comcast, for the most part.
Does this whole thing displease me? Certainly. Do I blame SE? Not per se. They did move to this facility a few months ago, but blaming them even then would be foolhardy at best.
Hopefully the person overreacting to their Comcast bill is caught and sent somewhere that their main methods of communication technology are a typewriter and a Morse Code wire. But, until that time, let's game on as only we know how. You know, sitting around AFK and trashtalking one another in the middle of endgame hubs, and maybe once in a blue moon queuing up for something. (Sarcasm on that last part for those unable to catch on quick)
I hope they catch and sue the individual or group of individuals responsible and sue them to the point their wages are garnished for the next thousand years.
I speculate that it might be a certain notorious FC on Balmung, but I won’t state who I speculate due to the rules, and fact that they just want attention.
In my opinion I bet it's someone from that one group that DDoS'd PSN a few years back. Most of the members were caught but I believe they had two or three people as backup. Plus with this game being popular af AND PS4 players enjoying it as much as PC players...to them it could be another way. Or it could be those illegal black market-like Chinese/Brazilian/Russian Gil sellers.
The game isn't causing the issues. DDoSers are. And yeah, they made it your war to fight. You can fight, or you can quit. Good luck making your choice. As much as I agree with the overall air of this thread, you're missing the point this is a game. If it causes people aggravation it's directly counterproductive to its intended purpose of providing enjoyable entertainment. Not to mention that as far as the DDoS is concerned this is not our war to fight. The win here is that people haven't mass unsubscribed, not that they fight this windmill by staying logged in.
I've made mine. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some Hildibrand stuff to finish. Loving it.
Good luck with clicking the character then waiting for five minutes for the dialogue box to load then disconnecting mid cutscene. Not my idea of fun but this isn't my place to kinkshame

We’re all advocating for the type of game we want to see. Mine just happens to clash with yours. I like a story driven game, where people can come together as a community, and defeat challenges based on a PVE format. I want to work together. [snip] You’re not gonna like what I say, but I’m gonna say it regardless because I want Square Enix to hear the other side.
