If the game went down for a week because of something SQE did (and it wasn't a scheduled down time), or if there was a widespread error with the login server that didn't allow players to get into the game; then they would be in a position to compensate the player base.

Something like this though? SQE cannot reward the player base for the trouble that a DDoS attack caused, because then there would be setting a precedent for the company's public relations with it's customers and even customers may be incentivized to contribute to a DDoS in order to push SQE for more conciliatory items.
Ya, because people will be tempted to BREAK THE LAW for a chance at getting $1 worth of free digital stuff. Do some of you even think before you type or read your own posts before hitting submit?

Also the majority of unplanned service disruptions are not the direct fault of that company and that's what makes then UNPLANNED. Guess what though, it's called customer service and giving a damn about your customers. They pay YOU money, not the company that supposedly is the one being hit. And my guess? The true target is SE and they are just indirectly attacking SE for the most efficient results. Since no one can prove or disprove that, every company that is effected should be assuming the ddos is meant for them.

W/e not like it matters to me anymore anyways. Another day of lagg every 20 minutes was enough. I gave them until the end of my sub month. It's just a shame there was no option to tell them the real reasons why I was un-subbing though.
