Increase the font size of character dialogue boxes - I know we used to have it!

It used to be that I could click on the character dialogue boxes (the ones that appear at the bottom of the screen like when they're telling a story or something), by going to virtual mouse mode, then right clicking on the bubble and choosing the text scale.

But now when I do it, it just continues to the next piece of dialogue. Did we lose this functionality?
