Looking for the server most populated on during EST day/night time

I'm new

I just made a new GLA and he's lv10.

I don't think the game recieved the negative remarks it was given. I actually think this is a solid MMO experience so far.

My main concern is I'm playing on Besaid (2 chocobos of 3 max) and I see people but like I don't even know what country they're from lolz. Met this girl from Spain and some guy from Germany (wtf I don't even speak Germannnnn -.-).

Help me find a good server. EST time zone, preferably full.

Also, I want to make a tank like character as it's my first char in an MMO in like 3 years. Can someone give me the low down between Marauder and Gladiators

my suggestion is to check out a few servers just create a character in uldah do a player search. I think Besaid is the offical english speaking server so maybe you had bad luck. Mysidia has a decent pop but a lot of Japanese players, though our Japanese players are pretty friendly and dont exclude non Japanese players from parties because they dont speak Japanese. But more often than not any random conversations I see are usually in English.

well i say a few because there are a few higher population servers, mysidia, lindblum, figaro, besaid, and rabenstein (sorry for poor spelling) I think are the most populated.

Welcome to the game! As for EST "server" and being busy, I know that our's, Figaro, ranks in the top 5 for pop and weekends are pretty solid. Nice group of folks from all over the place. Good luck.

GLA overall as a better tank. Besides in 1.21 it unlocks PLD which looks to be no contest when it comes to defensive main tanking.

Hmm... although the details aren't known much about everything coming with the patch just yet, I can provide the link to the list of actions the unlocked jobs will have:

That was released prior to 1.20 and therefore has the class actions as well. The job actions are also listed there though.
