I totally agree with the OP - it is so sad that my mogstaff is not as good as my ivory staff with all the materia ; ;

And while we are at it, can we PLS have an item such as Kraken club in FFXI which is incredibly rare but desired by everyone. Like stuff that only one or two lucky ones in the whole server would have but everyone could aim to get.
(lol now that I think about it, Ifrit weapons for me already seem like it!!!!! I can never get a drop grr)
