    Dodore's Tail Did Not Break?

My linkshell was fighting Dodore last night and decided to try breaking the tail in hopes of increasing the drop rate (after 7 fights with no drops on the wing). We had 5 or 6 Mauraders and concentrated on only striking Dodore with Maim on his backside to damage the tail. The damage is counted and displayed in the chat log. After 20 or so minutes of letting him regen and backing off so we did not kill him first, the tail still did not break. Should the tail really have 3-4 times the HP of Dodore? What is it a one time glitch? Does it not break now for some reason, despite showing tail damage text?

I would give my machine's specifications, but it was also experienced by 15 or so other players. I would have to assume it's an issue on the server's side.

Coincidentally, our LS was having similar issues with breaks. Were the Roaming NM breaks adjusted? I may have missed it in patch notes.

I know what the moves are, and Main does indeed target the rear of a mob. I'm more questioning if they changed how the break works, or took it out entirely. We couldn't get a break on Elder Mosshorn either.

From what I remember (Unless it was changed) You incapacitate the Eye of dodore, not the tail.

As said above, it's the "eye" not the tail, Incap is still the same, except that you need to use the new incap abilities, which is in the patch notes.

    P.S.
For additional proof, I took out both of Great Buffalo's horn with the new abilities.

Alright, I understand targeting the eye instead, sure.... however, the tail still takes damage from Maim when you are behind Dodore, yet it never breaks? I think if it does nothing, it should be removed.

... Why was this moved from the Bug forum if it's an obvious issue?

I believe/think its a kind of lesser incapacitation, like to prevent an enemy from doing specific WSs

I.E. Dodore's tail is incapacitated (Dodore is now unable to use tail whip for awhile)

Like if you incapacitate Great Buffalo's leg, it will fall and be unable to stand/attack for awhile. I think there are more examples such as incapacitating the horn/head of a specific mobs rendering them unable to use WSs.

No, I understand Incapacitation, however, in this case, it's not working. The tail did not break after 20 mins of taking 250-350 dmg Maims to his backside from 5-6 MRDs. We had to let it regen multiple times to stop from killing Dodore from taking so much dmg.

Okay, yet again, this thread was moved. It was originally in the Bug forum, where it belongs. This is obviously a bug in the code, on the server side. Please move it back and stop moving it around.

No idea, we managed to break the Mosshorn's horns and it went pretty fine.
Wanna check it out today Holy? =)
