Subjobs not required?

Im currently a 45 Culinarian, with a 19 GSM skill, attempting to make Crowned cakes. I still cant make the cakes, but they said the requirements of a secondary job were removed, can anyone else confirm this for me?

I believe this only applies to the new recipes, which were given to all crafts except cooking and alchemy which still need to be renovated. The old recipes are still in the game but are planned to be taken out, not that I don't feel your pain

a response nonetheless for the confirmation was good enough, ty , it is painful lol, guess it just means i wont be grinding on crowned cakes anytime soon haha

I can find no reference that old recipes were affected. Doing a search for "Secondary Skills" shows that reaffirms Eden's post that new recipes are affected.

Culinary, goldsmithing, and alchemy may very well be cursed!

In my level 49>50, for Crowned cakes, i had break 50 % of the crafts.
Use velodyna for up culinary 42+

I'm a level 45 CUL and Level 42 GSM and it lets me do the synths but still comes up with a message saying my GSM isn't high enough lol, come on SE show us CULs some love.....

Well everything will be changed in 1.21, but if you have goldsmith at 25-30 you'll have no problem with the cakes...
