I dunno about everyone else but in XI I liked alot of the music but mostly in select zones. In XIV I don't think I've run into any that I dislike. I'd even go as far as saying I am in love with them ALL.
What's everyone's take on the in-game music?

You know, one thing ive always never understood is peoples love for in game music
Wether its a console game, single player, mmo, ive never been a huge fan of the music in games and usualy turn it all off
so its not that i dont love the music, i dont love game music in general i guess you can say
My XIVPad: http://xivpads.com?2031148
Well I don't like almost all the music in this game. The crafting music was nice but it got old after the 5,000th craft. The only music I will ocassionally turn the system sound on for is Coerthas![]()
I only turn on sound when I go to Coerthas, which is rarely ever since everyone in my LS got their tricornes.
Otherwise its off. I only enjoy Stars Over Thanalan and Coerthas. Mor Dhona is alright, just kind of annoying at times.
Battle music is the worst...
Did anyone else go to Mr. Uematsu's Final Fantasy in Los Angeles 4 or 5 years ago?
FFX music is my fav by far.
My fav FFXI tracks were Recollection (the cool COP music by Uematsu), and Norg!
I only like the in-game music of the FF series, its well composed and doesn't sound all cheaply thrown together on a $20 Casio keyboard. Its obviously loved if they have an orchestra going on tour every year playing the top tiered song of all the FF series. You know, one thing ive always never understood is peoples love for in game music

I went to a wedding in September to see two of my friends from XI get married, when they had their first dance as a married couple they danced to this song from FFX: http://store.ffdistantworlds.com/tra...inal-fantasy-x. I loved it so much I took the CD they gave to the DJ for the event lol.

I like the music, and unlike in XI, I have yet to come across a piece I did not like.
On the other hand, I have yet to really grow fond of any piece, of which there are quite a few of XI I really like.
I think (hope) it is just a matter of time, as this in large part is tied to feelings/emotions from experiences in those zones.
The one piece from XI I really do not like and would have me turn off the sound is The Kingdom of San d'Oria.
i love ffxiv music of what I heard on youtube. I love ga,ming music and have a few songs from various games on my Ipod. I got scar of time (chrono cross intro) a fan made song based on pirates of the carribean mixed with dragon roost isle from Wind waker. Song of storms (zelda) The marbolo concert song (chrono cross) I loved the songs in ffxi. I loved ff8 theme song eyes on me. One wing angel is another fav of mine. Also the intro song to ff8. Simple and clean from kingdom hearts sancuary from kh2
the sound track from bayonetta. Every song in fall out 3. The intro to fable (danny elfman did it)
And beyond good and evil (playing the remake on 360)
Id list more but ya. I heard black Shroud has a tim burton feel can anyone link this music? I want to judge it for myself.
Nah, I wish I went though. :<
My fav songs are Suteki da ni and Zanarkand from FFX, Recollections, Memoro de la Stono and Sanctuary of Zi'tah from XI, Blinded by Light and Snow's Theme from XIII
I used to idle in Santuary of Zi'tah while seeking just to enjoy the music lol.
Edit: Added links to the songs mentioned.

It's still touring, called Distant Worlds. I'm sure they will be this way again.
