Open world PvP Zone

World of Warcraft has this thing called "Warmode" pretty much you can only get attacked in the open world if you decide to turn it on. FFXIV could totally do something like this.

Warmode is a joke and nothing can change that fact.
What is the point of a warmode when no Alliance player is turning it on?

The fact is, you can't force PvP on players, so warmode was a solution. Players opting out of it is an option.

A PvP Mode-sync button can do more than just alllow us to be hit by other players. It can sync our levels so it's possible to keep/use PvE skills like 3.0 PvP, no need to load different set layout. Really, the possibilities are endless:

• Devs can convert any existing maps automagically. Pick one, any map! We want this already!
• BLU is otw. Player-created raids, anyone? Or at the very least, no more SSS striking dummy! Something other than ERP to put in your character's "real job" resume

There is literally no reason to not add something like this as long as it's opt out. People saying otherwise are the kind of people who will complain about literally anything that isn't their own personal favorite way to do things.

Opportunity cost. It means that they could have used their time better by doing something else.

There's really no point to adding a feature that is dead already in every game where it already exists, or adding a feature that they are not going to do anything to support, and this is both.

I would love to see Open World PVP be added not for myself but for the many FC Members and friends who have not played in a long while who have said to me "If they added open world PVP that would be it for me, I would come back" It's missing and something that alot of people in general enjoy about MMOs having. I think for those who don't enjoy PVP or would be scared of the idea of being sniped while out gathering or enjoying their MSQs, or whatever to add an option on your character perhaps that would turn PVP on or off to be able to engage with others. This would be a great addition for so many reasons, I haven't enjoyed PVP since the skill changes, if any improvements to be made to PVP please consider this We're about to be the Warriors of Darkness right? What a better time than that?

With the arrival of new wow players, maybe shadowbringers is a good time to add this feature.
