Feedback. Expiring Unplayed "Game Time"? lol

I'm writing this to inquire about the supposedly "Game Time".

After learning I have few days left of my subscription, that was around 15 days to be exact, I started to lay low logging in the game and suddenly stopped to preserve the "Game Time" I have left. But then upon checking my subscription, I only have 5 days left, (now 3 days upon checking again). Why is it called Game Time if it's being consumed even if not getting in the game?

Oh well, maybe FFXIV doesn't suit for the "hectic students" type. I could only play from time to time but will be surprised that I don't have any Game Time left. lol

It is called "Game Time". What it means is the amount of real-world time you have left to play the game.
As far as I know this is the same for all MMOs with any kind of subscription - you pay for a number of days, and then decide for yourself how much or how little you play during those days.

In short it works as designed, and your interpretation of how it should work is highly unusual to say the least.
