Could a "throw" emote at least be implemented to replace this? Just remove the snowball tossing animation. Right now throwing a snowball at an NPC just shows a throwing animation with the text, no snowball. Keep this, get rid of the snowball animation and impact. Bring it back around once a year during Christmas.

They should definately switch it out for other things during the year! like rocks, water balloons, lalafells, etc! We were always missing a /toss like we had an XI and this fit the part and improved on it! No matter if changes to something else, we need to be able to throw something.

give us something to replace it >< and with the animation!!
I can't believe it. First SE says that will hear the players feedbacks and now, when all people said that /snowball should be left untouched, SE decides to remove it...![]()

...actually while I orginally giggled with glee every time I threw a /snowball or saw one thrown... now it has gotten a little old. I'd prefer 'Event' emotes to come and go with each event. I'm sure the GM reporter characters would too... Also, SE maybe give the reporters a /snowball shield or something....poor kids are getting clobbered
but before it ends /snowball <Bayohne> .... then runs away on little lala feet giggling

/snowball is one of the best emotes in this game![]()

well this sucks....
In WoW, snobwalls could be thrown at any time, as long as you posessed actual snowballs. It was possible to craft a machine which would produce one snowball a day that could be used year round- during the winter events you could buy hordes of snowballs, the machine is the only way to get them outside of the event.
