Is snowball a permanent emote?

Maybe SE could bring the /snowball emote back once a year around Christmas/New Year's? That way it would be something special to look forward to each year.

Could a "throw" emote at least be implemented to replace this? Just remove the snowball tossing animation. Right now throwing a snowball at an NPC just shows a throwing animation with the text, no snowball. Keep this, get rid of the snowball animation and impact. Bring it back around once a year during Christmas.

They should definately switch it out for other things during the year! like rocks, water balloons, lalafells, etc! We were always missing a /toss like we had an XI and this fit the part and improved on it! No matter if changes to something else, we need to be able to throw something.

I can't believe it. First SE says that will hear the players feedbacks and now, when all people said that /snowball should be left untouched, SE decides to remove it...

...actually while I orginally giggled with glee every time I threw a /snowball or saw one thrown... now it has gotten a little old. I'd prefer 'Event' emotes to come and go with each event. I'm sure the GM reporter characters would too... Also, SE maybe give the reporters a /snowball shield or something....poor kids are getting clobbered

In WoW, snobwalls could be thrown at any time, as long as you posessed actual snowballs. It was possible to craft a machine which would produce one snowball a day that could be used year round- during the winter events you could buy hordes of snowballs, the machine is the only way to get them outside of the event.
