How about with Mystic Knight with a Scythe?

Um ... no thanks.
I really don't understand people's obsession with trying to get scythes as a melee weapon.

Besides a scythe wielding Mystic Knight seems less like a FF Mystic Knight and a bit too much like a Guild Wars Dervish.

The weapon I would like to see Mystic Knights get is a dual bladed sword staff, like some of Zidane's weapons from FF9.

The fantasy of being a Grim Reaper-type fighter is why I want a scythe type weapon.

I'd be cool with a dual gunner job, a gunblader job, a corsair (one sword and one gun) job (hell, maybe even make it like Alvin from Tales of Xillia where the weapon functions as a gunblade and as a gun / blade), a scythe based job, and a Rune Knight / Mystic Knight.
