Machinist stat priority?

Hello everyone, today I've reached my 1000 tomestone for the weapon, but just before taking it, I was wondering "Why should I get that instead of the pant 330 that I can upgrade to 340?"
So I started looking at my stats, and since I was doing the same priority as the BRD (Crit > DH > Det > Viva), I realised that I don't really know what the MCH needs...

And I haven't friends that play it, so I'm asking you: what should I do with my MCH?

You're on the right track, though I've been told DH is better than Crit until you can get it over 2000. And last I knew, the Creation pants were BiS, but since getting them, I haven't really kept track of any BiS changes.

I've found this BiS http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/12COK which is pretty the same as my stuff now.
It seems to get Crit over 2000 is not a good idea, maybe because only Reassemble is using Crit?
I'm not really sure...

Except for the o4s gear, I have all of that bis plus the rabanastre & aug. allagan jackets and the o3s pants.

I am melded to maximize crit, followed by DH, then det. And, tbh, swapping between the pants doesn’t make much of a impact on my overall dps for a fight. I generally run with the rabanastre jacket with augmented allagan pants because it keeps my crit rate a couple percentage points higher while barely affecting my DH rate.

However, I’ve tried every combination of jackets and pants and the biggest impact on the fight is my own performance (adapting to each fights’ timing in particular) followed by lining up wildfires with my teammates’ buffs.

I've the Rabanastre Jacket, and I've to say... The stats are good, quite better than the Allagan one. And it's not ugly.
And I agree, I don't see so much difference on a dummy with a better stuff, but it's quite hard to play with Wildfire (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swx8T85ElZ8), we have to know the whole fight to line it up.
