    No idea, but I'm having the same issues you are and I also live in California. Do you by chance have Comcast? Was about to give them a call and start screaming in their ears lol...

    Not comcast. It seems this is due to a DNS/data center or sort is down, as my tracert to FF and all those websites stopped at NTT, and this data center serves a lot of major websites/games including FF14 (see my link above)
