Unfortunately, I have not been feeling satisfied with my performance, as my fflogs are not where I'd like them to be.

You're already looking at FFlogs. Start clicking around. Take a look at the different views it offers you. Notice how it shows buff uptimes, DoT uptimes, when you're using certain CDs, how many of a certain spell you're casting, and so on.

Now, look at some of those ASTs you aspire to be like. Look at all those little details for them. What are they doing differently than you? Simply casting more? Using CDs at certain times? etc. Now you have a target.
