24 man raid boss "Hashmel Bringer of the order" to difficult

The only time I ever die in that boss is if I wasn't paying attention to placement and am on the other edge of the arena when he does the flame arm thing. That's rarely.

It's so weird to me though that if I queue for this with Party in Progress on (I almost always have that on), 9 times out of 10, as a dps, I'll be queued into the second boss. I assume some of this is people getting loot then running but then I get in and people are bickering.

There is 1 or 2 in every 24 group that like to play the "blame game". I ignore them til the end then BL.

The only thing I would adjust is the debuff on Extreme Edge. If you're the group by the gate having just had a sand sphere to handle and the arm is on that side, even Sprint may not get you across the arena in time. I can recover someone if they just took massive damage, but the debuff kills them since I can't Esuna quick enough to get it off. So I could see making that a little less instant death by lowering the effect a little so I can get it cleansed and get that player going again.

The other option would be to increase the safe box. It seems you need to be licking the edge to be safe, even if you're on the non-flaming side of him. I've seen partymates or gotten hit myself when I was more than past his non-flaming arm, but not right up against the side. So this seems that it could use some adjustment.

that's because the hitbox is for that move is all of him, plus the side of the arena his flaming arm is against.

Ex. his flame arm is on the left, everything on the left side of the arena is toast.

I just always went with the assumption that it hits 2/3 of the arena, so I need to haul ass to get to the safe area(or just stay near middle for the fight until I have to move so I don't have to sprint all the time).

Also this isn't casual content, it's transitional content(midcore) preparing you for higher content. If you just want casual go collect your tomes. There is nothing wrong with the difficulty of the 24 man it's fun and refreshing.
