There is a Cait Sith minion - sadly it came from pre-ordering ARR, so it cant be obtained anymore (and its unlikely thats gonna change since it was a promo-item).

...also... Cait Sith is a he... not sure how much he cares about being applied with the correct gender though...

I think cait should be brought back because the quests are fun and the minion WAS an exclusive but totally doesn’t have to be. It’s nice that it came out at one point when not many people were aware of it but people are aware now and should be given the full experience, same as those who conveniently had a chance to preorder it during a window that maybe some just didn’t have access too.

I love the Cait Sith minion but I always found its tail to be kind of weird. Why, SE!?
I always like to have it out at the golden saucer though. I wish there were more nods to him..

I would be fine if they made a new Cait Sith minion (with a better tail), but making the one I got for pre-ordering ARR available to all would make me pretty sad.

Wasn't the Cait Sith for Pre-ordering a Cait Sith doll minion? I personally wouldn't mind SE adding an actual Cait Sith minion instead of just the doll version. But the community may not like that because it would be make the doll less exclusive in a way.

No, the Cait Sith doll minion was from pre-ordering ARR. I have it and I wouldn't mind a wind-up version of him that looks a bit better than the doll version. But I'd be upset if they gave the doll version to everyone. just off principle alone.
