They don't even need to add new facial hair options. I think the game would benefit a lot from just having more faces to choose from which would also, in turn, provide a wider variety of NPC faces as well.

You say that as if this game doesn't improve itself or add things, which it objectively does.
Does it add things the community wants, or in the way they want? Not always, but then again the community in Blizzard spends a lot of time asking for things like classic servers and upright orcs for years before getting them, and other frequent requests still get told no.

Personally i would love that races with tails didnt had them clipping all over the clothes. I would be also nice if ALL characters didnt had flat pancakes as butts (dont even want a toogle, just a bit more realistic that the current flat line).
But honestly the tail clipping is annoying as hell. Still remember on 1.0 when clothes all had proper holes for miqote's tails. Now we have the Aura race as well, and despite that, basically no dress has a tail hole and they all magically protude from the cloth/metal/whatever, not counting the rare cases when clothes have the proper tail holes and the hole its MISPLACED with the tail protuding from above or below...

Once again they seem to completely misunderstand on what people want. We want more options such as facial tattoos.. beards for the boys.. multiple makeup options for everyone. It is so ridiculous that I can't have blush, eye-shadow and freckles.. why only one? Games from 20yrs ago could pull it off yet 'we don't want it to be to real'? ... ugh...If we increase more face options in the current customization it would become too real and lose the Final fantasy appeal. If we added more character customization options, the required amount of data to be transferred when characters enter instances would explode and gameplay may consequently be negatively affected.
Well, the server limitations for this game concern me regarding longevity. They seriously cant add 2 faces per race? It seems a bit absurd.

Seriously, if they can't add a couple new facial designs or just the ability to mix and match facial features (freckles and eyeliner pls?) without the game imploding, then it's probably time to upgrade.
They're going to need an upgrade for sure. When the next expansion comes it's almost going to be 6 years since ARR and that's a pretty good time for an upgrade.

You do realize they got new servers when the datracenter changed right? They didn't move the old servers when they did the move lol. It's likely not server hardware causing the limitations, other than physics limitations on network traffic, but server coding thats the cause of the "limitations and server problems"
It was clarified a few pages ago that they can add anything in the currently available options, which includes the faces, face parts and facial features.
They just can't add a new category like the body scars, body hair or body tattoos people also want.
Well, I didn't say anything about servers. You do realize they got new servers when the datracenter changed right? They didn't move the old servers when they did the move lol.
