FFXI Shantotto, XIII and DQ has been repeated couple times since their initial events. Same now with Yokai

Nothing wrong with repeating an event. Lightning Returns also got a repeat back in the day. Good for people who missed it the first time, and FFXIV seems to have many new players.

I didn't do this FFXI event the first time because I didn't have any character who would suit that armour. Now I might do, so I'm glad the event is returning ^^

I like when they repeat cross over events, I can get the stuff on this character since I switched servers. If only there was a threepeat of the lightning event... >.> I hate lightning but I love the gear.

I think its about time SE stop making events with the word exclusive in them. Its really a slap in the face, I won't get into it and won't respond to anyone on this topic either. But from now on lets just call all events, cross over events, etc, constantly recurring events! this way its not confusing and sounds better.

well they are exclusive, outside of the event or maybe the mog station, where are you getting the rewards the events give? Sounds pretty 'exclusive' to me.

No Lightning event anymore, now that the gear is in the mog shop.

But from now on lets just call all events, cross over events, etc, constantly occasionally recurring events! this way its not confusing and sounds better.

It was the King Slime Crown actually. The Slime Earrings were from one of the server raffles, like most other earrings of iconic enemies.

There's only been one instance of a returning crossover event giving extra rewards the second time around (the Dragon Quest event, which added Slime Earrings in addition to the earlier rewards), but I don't see SE adding any new rewards to this (lets not also forget when the FFXIII event last returned SE did not add any new event weapon for the then-recently introduced ROG/NIN).

I'm aware. I was more or less commenting in regards to completely new events as opposed to repeats. Not that I mind this coming back tbh, just that I would be more excited about an event I haven't done before. :3
