We all want to be on top of the market price in order to make some money. You log into FFXIV to check stuff you are selling, change the price accordingly. Off you go to work , out or whatever you do when not playing FFXIV. Then you comeback home only to find out that someone sold the item you put on sale for cheaper due to the fact you weren't at home connected to check + change the price.

A retainer mobile app will be ideal for everyone who would like to keep an eye on the market board and price checking. For those who aren't at home 24/7.

Will this be even possible to make to actually interact with the game while not being online on a pc or ps4?

While an interesting idea, there's alot of security risks involved considering it has to both interface with your account and with the game proper. You lose your phone you could wind up becoming a hack victim and the hacker would have just need hit a few digital buttons. Not discounting the convenience, but there's such a thing as too much convenience.

I have a lot of dead times at work and between classes when I am at the university, doing something useful in those times could be nice

I don't think is a bad idea "undercutting 24/7" isn't that what business do? And regarding having a life, I think is down to the person. (Abit like Facebook people still go into it 24/7 for no reason and still have a life while interacting with other or playing candy crush....)

At the end of the day is an open option for people like myself who would like to have that option.

Gotta disagree with the suggestion. As an active player in the market, I would be tempted to be constantly updating my prices while at work, at sports, etc.. I could see the benefits if something like that was implemented, but I don't like how it could potentially affect my time outside of the game

I don't think extra widgets and weird things like apps are really needed, other's need to make gil aswell while the undercutters are offline also constant undercutting would make almost everything worthless to be sold on the marketboards.

My inventory messes up when I log into FFXIV on the laptop as oppose to my desktop, I can't imagine how messed up the inventory would be if you messed with the stuff on a mobile device >.>.

I wan to have a fishing app so I can fish while not logged in =) Really all you need is 1 button to fish anyways lol
