Therefore for now we don't have plans to develop a large scale apartments right now but once we get the current task done, we'd like to move foward and see what we can do with it.

Sounds like they are going to make it account per plot soon. I wonder if they will try to give old players 45 days warning to stick with one plot and relinquish/demolish others.

That's reading a lot into it something that doesn't mention accounts, or house culling at all. I doubt they'll strip houses from current owners, but the only info we have thus far is they're looking for a fair way for everyone to get a house which really isn't new info. The possibility of different sized apartments is nice, but my personal opinion is they should stop wasting the resources on those and just put it towards a full fledged outdoor/indoor upgradable instanced housing.

I really hope it is made 1 FC, 1 Personal per server per account. Because there really is no need to own 5, 10, 15, or 20 houses; and I highly doubt that the developers intended for one account to own more than 1 (or 2 if you’re the master of an FC) house the way some individuals do (for the record, I have seen the ward on Mateus owned by two players, and the houses are basically nothing more than storage/strangely designed furniture shops). Allow the people that own multiple houses on the same account to pick 1 personal house out of all the ones they own (and 1 FC house, if they’re master of one), and then free up all the other ones so that other people/FCs can own them. Allow for all alts on the account to share the main personal house. Just don’t set any arbitrary limits (e.g., FCs only for Large/Medium); there’s no reason for that.

I really hope they do NOT implement a lottery or bidding/auction type system though. I don’t really like the RNG shift from “are the servers going to crash on you”/“are you going to load in fast enough” to “are you going to be lucky enough for the system to choose you”. Lottery/auction would be fairer (if they made it in such a way that multiple bids for a plot cannot be placed, and the bid is the starting price of the plot), but I still don’t think it’s a good enough solution to the problem that Housing in this game is.

I really would like to see some expansion of the apartments—different size options, balcony options for gardening, AND the option to add tenants so it feels like a better alternative to a personal house. However, I still think instanced housing is the only real way to solve the Housing problems in this game. And, like I’ve proposed before, make the current wards FC only, and make a new ward with all the outward appearance of a neighborhood, but the plots lead to instanced plots (yard included; browsable like apartments and FC rooms are) for personal houses. The more this game grows, the bigger an issue housing is going to be, because even if the developers added 2, 4, 6, or even 12 more wards, it wouldn’t be enough to meet the current demands, much less future demands if the game expands rapidly.

Wow reading alot into are ya lol..the problem with shiro was people didn't all have a fair n square chance due to login issuses and server q's, and transfer housing bugs.

If you notice its says "everyone can obtain a new house" not people with out a house lol...people with multi houses are still people and count when mentioning everyone

...Old school mind set? What are you, middle schooler? Each characters are not unique and this is the very reason why people can't purchase plots because we have so many people using 8 characters and 8 FCs to purchase 16 plots in one ward. What you are saying is more of roleplaying set of mind, but because this game can't support 1000 wards, we will never be able to have alts to purchase same ward houses.

Please please show me these many people..cause as far as i know there truly is just 1 set of 2 ppl on mathus that own a whole ward with 8 personal 8 fc houses..there are fc's that havei ts members buy personal houses in the same ward..way differnt... when it boils down i think the number of wards own by 2 people maybe 1 or 2 thats it

You act like this is a wide spread epidemic of 2 people owning wards with 8 fcs 8 personal houses...Ive only in all the threads ive been in or read have seen 1 ONE ward owned by 2 people the tons of people ive seen comment. no one has said its happened on another server just this 1.

Most the legit (nonflippers) who own more then one house own 2-3 for rp purposes and have owned them

Tbh this is just assuming things...

It states that they are implementing a system where everyone "can" obtain a house, not where everyone "will" obtain a house.
As they clearly indicate that they are sticking to the ward system, I would rather guess that they are thinking of stepping away from the rush to the placard in front of the house.

For all we know all houses will simply become an auction where you can bid for a few hours - days - weeks so that you don't have to take a day off from work, get kicked out by the server because the server doesn't like you.
