Apparently I need to read descriptions better. I can't actually help you since you're on the Chaos Data Center and I'm on the Aether Data Center. It's a real bummer. I hope someone is kind enough on your Data Center to help you with this.

You should really just use the duty finder. You are the tank as a Paladin so you get to decide the pace anyway. If people try to tank cuz they want to speedrun, let them have their aggro.

I'm also on chaos data centre and happy to help. You could also try party finder so you can specify what type of run you want if you don't like to just jump into the duty finder with randoms. I was nervous too when I was levelling tank but most of the time the duty finder was fine. I usually just say at the beginning if I'm new and most players were very accommodating.
