    Not true at all, hunts can spawn very far away from the person who triggered the spawn, all it takes is 1 trigger-happy person pulling as soon as they get there for the spawner to not get credit. Seen it happen with bird of paradise, croque mitaine and nunyunuwi.

    Item levels keep rising, but hunt HP remains static.

    People barely show up for any of the hunts as is. Increasing their difficulty is making it unnecessarily hard on the people who bother to hunt them down. The only useful change would be increasing their spawn timers.

    I recommend you to join a local LS which is built purposely for hunting. This will save a lot of time finding the A/S-rank hunt. I personally never try to find A/S-rank hunt because the spawn time and location is too random (even if you are using tracker). When I bumped into one, I will share the location to LS link, if people are coming that's great. If not then I don't see the reason for not soloing while you can, because everyone will practically do the same thing.

    And allied seals is not the precious currency right now, so people tend to leave ARR A/S rank alone.

    not all servers have a big hunt community. I know goblin doesn't when you see an A rank being shouted in yanxia and it takes an hr for ppl to show up to kill it.

    The con is why they absolutely shouldn't do this. That's content that wasn't meant to be run by level 70s and the problem here isn't the boss but the fact that you can zerg it with all 70s. Imagine you're actually on level in that zone. Running into an A rank is bad enough, you want to buff it on top of it all?
    If it's in an ARR zone, it should be scaled to ARR difficulty. And if you want to run that content but you're 70? You should get scaled down. At this point that's one of the few viable options we have, I think.

    B) Increase the spawn frequency of ARR A/S by reducing the cooldown timer to a shorter amount
    A rank timer is fine, it's the S ranks that are troublesome.

    C) Change the system to be similar to tomestones; make HW A/S ranks give allied hunt seals and centurio seals only for level 70/SB items, repeat every time theres an expansion
    The problem with that is that if you're max level and they introduced something new for the older areas like the mount speed, you're potentially locking yourself out. Gearing up alt jobs is also a problem. Ultimately though I don't see it making people not run it as much as tomes are a big thing about hunts, but not ultimately what people run it for.

    D) Get rid of allied entirely and replace with Centurio
    Wouldn't change a single thing.

    Now on the topic... On Louisoix I tested it now several days, you can't hunt old ARR hunts here, they are almost always dead. I checked more than 10 areas on different days and never found something.
    Here are a lot new players ofc and many dont use tracker websites, this may be more a problem on this server but still sucks lol. Another thing is they don't report 99% of ARR A in the first place, because not many people come for these.
    I kill nowadays 5-10 S for 1 A mob in ARR regions.

    There are many ways to adjust hunts, one method would be easy to implement, just let us know when hunt mobs were killed the last time at the hunting NPC in every region. Before I hunt I can easily talk with the guy and know if it could be up again or not. This would leave hunt system as it is and doesn't change much, but you could plan for it if you are trying to hunt and you don't waste hours searching a dead hunt.
    It would be an ingame tracker and we wouldnt have to use apps or external sites anymore to update all the shit.

    And just in general... with all the new content and new patches after several months and years, it is a normal development of a MMO to nerf old content to make the game items more accessible and keep it fun. It happens with beast tribes with relicweapon grinds or the unsync function. Hunts don't have to stay the same forever aswell...It doesnt hurt anybody if they would spawn more often..xD

    A) No. A better way to handle this without ruining the fact that they're meant for 50/60/70 content respectively would be SE simply making them sync a player much like FATEs do. Adjusting mob values would be far worse when there's already a system in place to adjust players.

    B) A ranks are short already. They're fine I'd say. S ranks could stand to be a tad shorter or simply make their random timer within the capable spawn time an exact time frame.

    C/D) Unnecessary.

    How your hunt experience goes will vary with each server. Some of them don't have established Linkshells or groups dedicated to keeping up with these or sharing the info. Some do. On Leviathan it's very easy to farm A ranks and even S ranks. I only play a few hours a day and I can farm 1-3 dozen A ranks daily. We have several completely full Linkshells dedicated to spreading the info and tracking them.

    Personally, I find the only major drawback to the Hunt system design is that 1 player can often ruin it for others. Be it by off setting timers, early pulling, etc. This seems to only be an issue for smaller/dead or less active Hunt servers though.
