    I don't particularly care either way. I don't especially miss holding onto Ammo for 2 GCDs, up from 1, in ST, or marking n targets with Lead Shot before going into the core rotation, and feel like the current Ammo CDs better fit a single waste skill (2 with Cooldown) than both Hotshot and Lead. Whereas DoTs actually did something for, say, Monk, by granting them somewhat flexible control over their core mechanic, and allowed for rotational variance in some situations for DRGs and NINs, it's never allowed anything particularly creative for MCH.

    Honestly, I'd rather just see Hotshot removed, too, or made more interesting than a minute-long minor buff.

    Hell, work the damage bonus into weapon heat itself, such that the weapon cools over time and you want to get it as near to overheating as possible, and make Hotshot your go-to skill on a short CD to rapidly raise Heat from low numbers and embonus the heat gained from your next x skills (each based on relative potency) when at high numbers and with improved shots prepped.

    Gauss Barrel itself is already a 5% increase, but I'd agree not being locked out of both turrets when you detonate one would be nice, as would double deployment, but I doubt they'd ever let us do that. Perhaps a lesser "Pawn" turret?

    For the person that said it, I'd definitely rather have Grenado Shot over Spread Shot. Like, as a complete and total replacement.

    And Lead Shot was nice, especially factoring into Wildfire damage and when dealing with multiple targets. It would be even more so with the additional target damage reductions they added to the Bishop turret. Hell they can even work the DoT into Cooldown if they like, considering you're literally heat dumping the weapon. Gives Cooldown more utility beyond heat management, and would probably have it see more use outside of overheat/Wildfire.

    No. Leadshot on it's own adds no depth to MCH gameplay, and baking it's DoT into something like hotshot serves no purpose other than taking up a debuff slot. If there's going to be a DoT, it should be on an ability that has a purpose in itself; burn stacks of flamethrower (which requires rework on flamethrower itself) for example so you have a reason to maintain flamethrower for more than 2 seconds just to OH yourself, or as an ammo effect on clean shot so it's used beyond reassemble.

    Aside from that, I'd still like to stick with something I brought up long ago that ammo should augment your weaponskills and abilties (similiar to what to dork arts. but limited by cooldown instead of mana) rather than a straight potency buff with 100% proc rate. It could have been done in place for heated shots altogether (alongside the different animation and such) so there is some rotational thought to using ammo rather than slamming it off cooldown.
