Mog House Gardening!

I love me some gardens... if you cant tell by my forum name.


I think Mog house gardening would be another great way to stimulate the market and add imersion to the game.

Mog houses should have an exterior garden.


Cultivation tools made bycarpenter/weaponsmith.

Fertiliser made by Alchemists.

Seeds gathered through a variety of means including botanist.

Gardening could help expand the market place and provide renewable sources of income for both growers and help stimulate the market for Culinarians and other crafts effected by gardening (I know FFXI had elemental ores but imagination is the limit for FFXIVs creativity.)




Outside of practicality a garden and the exterior of a mog house would set FFXIV apart from the vast majority of Player housing on the current MMORPG market.



Okay... thats my splat idea for tonight. And if somewhere somebody thought of this first or a dev did or something or a missed a blog... well then atleast im not the only one that feels this way!

I think it's already in the plans (cant remember where, but i recall reading about it) that you could garden and craft in your moghouse

It's in the works but not until 2.0. Most content for non-battle related activities isn't until after 2.0

and they will be called estates instead of mog houses ^^
