Housing suggestion - post Yoshi-P's announcement

Hi there! I know there's been an announcement made, and here are some suggestions.

Housing should be limited to one personal house per server. Those who own multiple houses should receive a notice to pick which they want to keep, while the others get removed. They should be reimbursed similar to the demolition reimbursement already implemented. Take the people on Mateus who bought up a whole ward, there was no housing available to anyone who switched. Who needs 30 houses anyway? There are also the "flippers" or "scalpers" that like to buy multiple plots and resell them for ridiculous amounts of gil, i.e. 70mil for a small.

Players should only be allowed to own one personal housing plot and one FC plot per server. Apartments are many in number, so those can stay one per character and possibly allow a 2nd tenant. To add to the "one per server", somehow allow access to your other characters as well, similar to tenants but for yourself. This would mean being able to change the owner of the house amongst your characters, if you were to transfer one of them elsewhere.

Another suggestion is having a 30+ day cooldown after buying/relocating a plot. That in itself should be for buying as a whole, so no one can mass buy, if a limit isn't implemented on how many someone can buy. They can buy multiple, but now they have to wait a month before they can. Y'know?

This is to ultimately prevent people from buying multiple houses and reselling for a ridiculous amount of money. It will also allow other individuals and FCs to obtain housing and not congest the wards.

EXTREME Measures:
- One personal house AND one FC house per server
- Multiple houses opted to be demo'd and reimbursed

ALTERNATIVE Measures:
- Make buying and relocating have a 30+ day cool down.
- Meaning, a player can only purchase a plot 30+ days at a time.
- Limit the amount of houses a player can buy.

ADDITIONAL Suggestions:
- Add a 2nd tenant to apartments, keep them as is per character.

I'd like to see tenancy for alts in personal housing a thing. Like my main has a personal house but I wish my alt could also use it kind of thing. I don't see why you're not allowed to friend your own characters :/
I don't intend to buy a second house for my alt though (I'm already of the opinion one house per person per server/account). I just wish I could use the same house on that character so I can check things while I use them instead of my main.

I agree with one personal, and one FC also, in addition to allowing alts (at least from the same world) accessing the same home.

Furthermore, if instanced housing is considered, I strongly support personal as instanced and FCs in existing neighbourhood wards.

However, caution must be considered against 1 man shell FCs in future housing plots.

Change apartment to Condominium

The condominium will be a duplex type condo meaning there will be two floors and will be the size of a small house. A balcony can be purchased as an upgrade for gardening.

Put fun into getting a condo, you can add Condominium utility which everyone in that condo unit can share these utilities, these utilities would be:

1) A gym - training dummies for everyone to use
2) A SWIMMING POOL (So people can swim and stuff)
3) Workshop (Where people can use crafting station for a small fee)
4) BBQ pit! People can buy food there and be a gather spot for people to chill and meet with her condominium owners!
5) ChocoPark (Carpark) where you can park your chocobo there and do Chocobo stuff
6) Condo transport to people to Exploratory Voyages.

These will help because you will then eliminate the need for people to get their own house because they can do everything in it!~
PLUS IT IS AN INSTANCE thus helping with the server stress if any.
