1. The aesthetic is just right for me. Can't say the same for most other MMOs.
2. Waiting for Monster Hunter: World.
3. Laziness.
I started FFXIV:ARR having high hopes for the Reborn, and the hopes for things like add-ons, proper housing, more interesting stats, etc. gradually died away. At the moment I'm kind of just waiting for my subscription to expire.
The limisted housing, officially giving up on add-ons, static encounters, timed gathering nodes, etc. is moving FFXIV further and further away from what I prefer. So it's quite likely that I'd finally leave FFXIV when my subs run out in January, unless they make some really exciting announcements.
