I keep finding new enjoyment in other classes thats not my main (BRD). I was going to unsub back in September but than I gave BLM a try and because of that I now see casters in a new light. Granted BRD was caster in HW but it wasnt to the lvl of the 2 dedicated casters Lol. Thanks to the SB changes to BLM I am enjoying playing the class. Right now I am currently leveling SMN/SCH and having gone through BLM first, SMN is also now fun to play (for me anyway). SCH DPS/Heals is also really fun too. Especially with Excog >D.

Side-note: After playing both BLM and SMN, makes me not want to play RDM lol

Maybe you're thinking about the transition from 1.x to 2.0, when "letters from the producer" were written, translated and published simultaneously in each language, when the dev.tracker had new posts almost daily, and when the producer and some other devs were posting regularly.

Currently, we have nothing. The latest message from the producer is damage control, the dev.tracker is nearly empty, the other devs have disappeared. Then we have suddenly an interview out of nowhere with interesting information, like this week-end, and players struggle to understand it because of fragmentary translations added to the usual vagueness from the producer. Live letters aren't much better since we also get fragmentary translation.

It's just a show. They even sell the right to watch it during fan-fest.

Why?

Very simple , there is SO MUCH to do that I feel it's never ending. Plus it's fun!
There's tons of crafting
Dungeons
Weekly stuff
Savage
Primals
Gathering
Etc

It's like a cycle that doesn't end . I find it pretty fun. I've been playing since Beta and tbh this is my first MMO and to me this is the best Final Fantasy (after XII) I have ever played.

Remember this game provides a ton of stuff to do rather than a lot of stuff I want to do. That's what I like because it motivates me to do stuff I never dreamt of doing or liking.
