But this attitude applies to anything sell-able not just gaming. It was going to happen with online becoming more and more of a thing. Games used to be complete because there was no internet to update them, or not good internet. Times have changed. MMO's naturally drift towards this model to scrape up a profit (when sub-based), I mean look at WoW, they did the same thing and whether you like it or not, it's still going strong.
There are exceptions to this rule of course, where you need to buy the game and HAVE to buy the micros/dlc. I don't agree with those models (looking at you Destiny 1 that locked me out of content I had purchased....) But in the end the attitude is the same. Either buy it or don't....

In my opinion, the general pricing of items is way too high, especially for items that are not shared by the whole account. The speed of which exclusive outfits are created and put on the Mogstation seems a bit much to me as well, but I expect opinions will vary on that part.

Ah so small extras in the shop and not judging them is the same as beeing pro delivering unfinished games and p2w bs? Nice idea but far away from right, sorry try again. What really allowed companies to go that way were all the people who are throwing their money into the shops and complain afterwards in forums about the prices and how evil the companies are.
You are again not at the right spot, but continue to make things up.

Something something sub fee, something something double dipping. Regardless of stance, whether you agree or not, retainer potions do slightly affect the market, only slightly. Any mmo usually does require criticism in terms of value and money, in this case it's about paying for the experience (theme park after all). I think it's a slippery slope that already started going downhill, and while the changes won't be immediate, within several years you'll be seeing a vastly different mogstation. I doubt they'll ever go P2W but eventually you'll look at something like GW2 and wonder why you have a sub.



My biggest issue with the cash shop is housing items and their ridiculous pricing structure. Specifically, things like Wallpapers and decorative food items. $5 for a wallpaper that gets destroyed if you change it, or a decorative food item that vanishes if FC mates nom on it is absolutely retarded.


$18 for an outfit that only goes to one character on your account is dumb. But I bought it so I guess its not so dumb that I won't pay for something if I want it badly enough...
