Heavensward Job Boost on a new char?

A simple and quick question.
If i would make a fresh character and i used a heavensward boost potion on the character (say, Dark Knight), would i then still need to go all the way to HW to be able to actually play the job or can i play trough the ARR content using that heavensward job?

I bought Machinist for an alt so I can answer your question with 100% certainty

If you buy the boost for a Heavensward job you get direct access to it, and you can do all ARR content with that new job if you want.

If you really want to have Dark Knight and are fine at purchase a jump then go with Dark Knight, WHM is so easy to level and can unlock whenever you want.

Play it before you boost it. Nothing sucks more than boosting a class you find you hate.

I have levelled Drk to 60 on my 3rd char. Whm has attained 70 on several of my chars. I just wanted to know sure for my... 7th char hehe
