London Yoshi P event- anyone heard anything yet

I know myself and a few people have been waiting to see if our application for next weeks Yoshi P event in London was selected. There are a couple of people I know, myself included, who are going down for Distant Worlds the night before and are holding on in booking hotel and travel until find out if can get into the event or not. SE said they would update when people are contacted, but just querying if anyone has had an invitation email from them yet?

Just bumping my own post. So far spoke to a few people who have not heard form SE yet.

Edit, just remembered its Sunday (need more coffee) so doubt anything will be sent today. Sniff, I can feel the train prices going up as it gets closer to the date

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm at Distant Worlds on the Saturday as well so applied for tickets for the meet and greet on the Sunday. Luckily our train tickets for the trip back don't have set times so we can stick around if we do get these tickets, but it would be good to know sooner rather than later so we can make plans.

I applied but I know they won't pick me as I admitted I would ask about the male bunny suit

I'm also heading to Distant Worlds during that weekend. So even if I do not get selected for the Yoshi-P meeting it's no big deal since I'll have plenty of other things to do during my trip to London...but I'm surprised there's been no word yet.

I submitted an email but not heard anything. I am still going along on the Sunday regardless so feel free to /wave me.

Yeah seems ppl on twitter and reddit are similar as well with not hearing anything. SE did say they will update when they have contacted people, I just read some people are waiting to see if they got or not as were only planning one night for Distant Worlds. I checked train prices on Friday and then again last night and they have gone up by £40 for same route and times. Hoping we hear soon, dread the prices go up more.

I checked with a SE rep this morning and he didn't know about the event and had no way of finding out.

Special guests on friday... special guests on sunday. and i'm going to London on the Saturday for Distant Worlds!!!! it's just typical

It seems weird that they are leaving it so late (especially after going out of their way to give date expectations). I'll be in the area anyway so I can afford to hang tight but it must be super annoying for all of you travelling from far-flung places for DW.
