Sudden large amounts of housing walls on Market Board

Within the last week or so, an FC mate and I have noticed there are an odd/suspicious amount of House Glamours up for sale on the Market Board on Leviathan. Not only that, they are extremely cheap. The price of these items being sold is what makes it so unusual. Currently, there are 31 Large Eatery Walls for sale with the majority being sold or already sold for less than 10,000 gil. The amount of materials required to construct these items are quite hefty, yet they are selling so low?

Has anyone else noticed this as a possible RMT/exploit red flag or am I missing something and there is new and better way to obtain these housing items?

Quick Venture retainers keep bringing back walls instead of the dog, probabaly part of the reason

I've gotten two large ones from quickventures so far. It's great that the price has gone down but they're near worthless considering how few large houses there are. Guess it makes it cheap to switch styles out on a whim though! Now if all these darn cassia logs I'm drowning in would get more use...

Merchant walls crashing too. I bought one for my wife and her medium house for 1M. Not long ago it was 10+M

It's nice for people be able to swap walls easily but it's probably going to be the end of FCs Crafting walls for their members' houses or to raise funds. People are selling way below the material cost. The Merchant walls needed a huge amount of materials iirc and the amount of Grand Company Seals needed is usually enormous.
I'm a little sad these walls didn't stay FC exclusives. There's very little for FCs to do together as it is.

The problem is demand just isn\\'t there. That\\'s why the prices are so low just to try and get rid of it. And if it\\'s free from a quick venture even 10k is a profit.

Same with furniture in general they add new houses the prices of everything goes up duento temporary demand and new owners wanting to furnish new homes.

Once done the value of everything nose dives again because no one buys it simply because theu have no where to put it.

When they added shirogane for example some of the exterior features went from 50k to 3 million plus. And a few days later right back down to 50k cos everyone\\'s new garden was done and thusbdemand was gone

With every new patch (and corresponding player/retainer ilvl increase), there's a chance for them to change up the item pool for retainer ventures. This usually results in some existing markets being tanked and is just something you have to be mindful of. Personally I think it's good because it keeps the market from becoming stagnant.

Something I found with retainers, if your retainer brings back an object, odds are other retainers brought back the same object to other people as well.
Some items sell better then others. Say...black dye.
Others, like the walls, are only usable for a select group of people, then they're worthless.

Does anyone else find it amusing that our retainers used to bring back roofs and windows and now they've progressed and they're bringing back entire "houses"?
