Can't play my PC account on PS4

I recently bought the PS4 bundle version of the game so I could play in the same room as my girlfriend. I have the game on the computer as well, and an active account. I previously had the game on PS3 and had later upgraded to PC and now want to move back to a PS4.

My problem is, I download the game, and can get to the screen where it asks if I have an account. I say I do, enter my same information as I would for the PC, and click next. Except that it tells me I can't play because the game is already linked to a different account or something like that.

Well, I went onto the Square Enix site and linked my PS4 there. I went onto the Mog Station and got a code called a PS4 upgrade promo code and entered that into my PS4. This gave me a download for the vanilla version of the game (no expansions). And it still wont let me play. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Contacted support, got no real help there....so I have no idea what to try next.

if you played previously on PS3 you would have needed to use the same PSN ID in order to use your account on the PS4. and if your account on Playstation was different than the one you use for PC you won't be able to play the same character. You can try getting support to unlink your PSN from your Square Enix account but that can take some time.
