THM Solo leveling

As a THM who solo/duod from 10-50 I have one bit of advice that will save you eons of time.

Find something weak to lightning 4-5 levels above you (I think there are some rank 44-45 Toxic toads near bald knoll) and start casting Thunder > Thandara like it was going out of style. Can easilly chain 5 if you have enough MP, only issue is resists can often make or break your chain so good gear is a must.

As in, I haven't played since 1.19 and I have no idea what can be done with combos or what has enabled/restricted soloing possibilities.

Near 40 you can try killing ants (forget the name) they are south of Halatali (near Drybone)

Easy. Go to cedarwood and north and slightly east there is a cave where kobolds are they are 35-37. Can easily get 10k xp in 11 mins there. Mix in behest and leves and you will be 40 in no time. When you hit 37 there is another cave north of cedarwood with syphids (bee type mobs) near entrance. Go inside and the kobolds there are 37-39 those will get you to 40. With thm thunder/thundara combo that will kill the lvl 37s and 38s. Add a single blizzard and thunder/thundara combo will own the 39s. Super fast xp.

Like it was said, GC missions have great exp, and you get seals, and the elementals drops good drops that can sell for a lot when they add up.

If not that, exp parties are still good and most popular at the higher levels. If not, Jynx hit the nail on the head.

You can aoe grind off molting mites east of nophicas wells. I did this and behests from 35 to 42. Run in with a chocobo and kill them with fire.

edit: apparently square couldnt keep up...forums still say I am lvl 38......heh.

There's a few groups of fish in this area that die very fast. This spot is also good for a mana burn party.

Toads and Kobolds are very weak to thunder. You should be able to 2 shot anything close to your level.

While the bulk of my thm leveling came pre .20 I can vouch for most squishy mobs such as Toads, efts, and slugs taking obscene amounts of damage from thunder.

leves out at the knoll have you facing off against these mobs pretty regularly, grab some and go get reasonably dangerous!
