[Dialogue BUG] Hildebrand Quest in Kugane

I am White Mage with my white mage staff and the NPC refers to me as a Samurai with a sword.

I assume this is a bug with looking at what class you are and Samurai is merely the default option.

Hopefully you can fix this, although it is too late for me as long as it's fixed for other people doing the quest.

at the first I was confused too, but he confuses you with a shinsengumi (I think that's the name) and they are all samurais, then it's not a bug.

The NPC says, "miss samurai" and talks about the sword I'm holding. I linked a screenshot, I thought it was obvious what I was wearing and what weapon I was holding.

The quest looks at the classes you have picked up, my Samurai is level 50 but I am CLEARLY on WHITE MAGE. It is entirely off-putting to be a main healer and be referred to as a damage dealer. I main white mage and would like the NPCs to refer to me as such.

Even if this is a design choice because you have all classes, it is still not looking at WHAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY PLAYING. This is a bug to me, because I am NOT samurai, please look at the image at the TOP of my OP.

No, Ayasaki128 is correct. The character thinks that you are a sekiseigumi (who are samurai, as well as being a sort of police force) that is here to confront him about his... questionable behavior. It is not meant to rip your personal class/weapon.

If you notice in the dialogue after that, he realizes that you are in fact not a sekiseigumi.

it's a Hildibrand quest after all. We need to expect these things.

He says that because since he things we are a sekiseigumi, he expects us the have a sword. He is two flustered to think twice about what weapon we have.

He says it regardless of your class/job so its pretty much just him not paying enough attention. Which given what he is doing and actually being aware its not good makes sense.
