Help Outside Storage

I have been trying to put items on my front porch beside the door with no success. I know others have been able to do it in the new area's.

I have lot 30 in Goblet and was wondering if it's the zone, house or because I have a weird sideways house in Goblet?

It may have to do with what house exterior you have.

Sounds like you're trying to do the place from storage glitch.
There was just a thread on that here, or you could just search youtube for it.

Yes, I watched video and saw the guide thread (it's good(. I didn't want to clutter the other thread so started a new one more specific.

Thanks - I may try changing exteriors to test, may need the fancy exteriors.

Ok - I switched the exterior from stone to composite. The items won't even appear on the composite style - get error right away. On the stone style they items appear put when you try placing them the item disappears - no error message.

So, definitely the house style affects this ability. I try wood when I get the material together. As for the higher end like choc house, hopefully someone who has a large in goblet can try it out.

finally got to work with the special housing glamours - eatery, merchant ect.
