This idea that tank is the sole pace setter is so silly.

No, it isn't.

I don't know why tanks still feel the need to sit back and let people die if they pull a little more, intentional or not. It's just slowing the run even more than your slow playstyle was already.

Some people prioritize comfort over speed. They won't get their comfort if they keep letting their party walk all over them, so that is their (and my) form of protest.
