It is unfortunate. But does any MMO really make alot of money off releasing new races? Who knows, they'd never tell us anyways. I just hope we actually keep getting new races.

I see alot of Hyurs around.. but no where near the levels of the female Miqotes. I'm pretty sure that Female Miqotes outnumber the combined Roe/Elezen population. Hell you could probably toss in male Au ras into that group and it still wouldn't beat the Femqotes. Catgirls everywhere.

I do hope we get more races too. I would love to see maybe Hybrid races. But when you add Lalafells into the mix it can be kinda squicky. I love my Lala and I think Lalas are the cutest race by far, but can you imagine a hybrid Roe/Lala? Good grief. XD

But mostly I just want a few new face options for everyone. More eye shapes, new make up and tattoos for every race. Little things that all add up to make your character feel more unique.

Oh. And eyebrows for male Highlanders. Those poor guys have no eyebrows!

Unfortunately Square has pretty much killed any possibility of interesting hybrid races by stating that hybrids take the race of their mother and will only show small signs of hybrid-ativity. Most of the time itll be like Hilda (Hyur with small pointy ears). So, hypothetically, lets take the Female Lalafell in Ul'dah who is married to a male Roe and say they had a child. What would it look like? Probably a Lalafell with a unique Seawolf/Redguard skin tone, maybe a larger nose. Switch the roles (Male lala/Fem Roe) and the offspring would probably be a Roegadyn with pointy Lala-based ears. True hybrids would be really cool to see, but unfortunately I don't think that'll ever happen.

And I agree. We need more faces, eyes, make up and tattoos. Also unlock Au ras horns (and other facial features) from their respective faces and let them be chosen at will on every face. Also more facial hair please. We need more beards and even mustaches.

If they ever actually unlocked the horns for Au Ra I might actually play one. I love the horns from face 2, but I prefer the look of face 4. Face 2 looks like shes depressed. Face 4 looks like shes gonna punch you in the eye and then go eat a bear. Raw. She just looks way more badass. (Can I say that without getting in trouble? o.o;; )

Oh - well in that case, I also agree to an extent. As long as races will always keep their racial features such as long limbs and neck for the Elezen.
There would be no point to having Elezen and Hyur be two separate races if you could just... get rid of the Elezen features.

It was my biggest problem with them as well, when I tried them back at HW launch. Unlocking the horns (and maybe adding more horns on top of more faces) could possibly make Au ras the next big competitor to the Miqotes.. Oh who am I kidding :P

I know that mostly the miqo'te want booties, but if they ever do a rework on the models, I really think that Roegadyn need butts badly. We look like we are about to have an uncontrollable bowel movement and we are clenching our butt for dear life. At least the Miqo'te and the Hyur have some form of curvature of the butt.

Aside from that, I find it odd that we get the muscle sliders and others don't lol.
