I don't think they have but if they did I bet the answer is no and the reason would be "server stress" or whatever. They said the same thing for Au Ra horns (I think).

Also Elezen should be left alone, instead give them body type options to look less long.

I still hope they do it for the next expansion instead of a new race but the devs being capable of doing both is even better.
