i could see a pikeman type class that could specialize in off tanking and its man role would be more on enfeebling instead damage like dragoon will be

Pikeman would be interesting, and very doable.
I'm also picturing a lancer with a shield. One handed Lance throwing weapon skills. Could be fun =)
