Rmt report button

When I used to use this in game, it automatically blocked the person reported so I stopped getting the wall of text advertisement. Recently I've noticed that it doesn't block the sellers automatically, and I have to block them separately after reporting them. I thought one of the things with the in game report function was to help manage blacklists?
It seems counterintuitive to have to block after reporting for rmt. It's two separate actions, plus I have to manage my blocked list again, which is a pain.
Has anyone else noticed this?

No. I've always had to blacklist the RMT spammer after reporting them. Perhaps you're thinking of another game?

The report RMT feature hasn't even been in the game that long. And no, it never blocked the reported account.

It's never blocked but I wish it would. Sure it's minor and QoL but still.

One thing that would be nice is a detection system that if you glitch under the ground/move at an impossible speed your account is flagged automatically and all logged in characters are forced to log off. It's weird seeing the /say near the aetherite or market board in Gradania (or anywhere) and no one is there since they're glitching the game or a squad of Lala's move a lightning speed to farm gathering spots in low level areas.

I'll never understand why a high profile MMO with XIV lacks basic protection against hacking to prevent things like this.

The other day i noticed a pack of them moving through the quests in Mor Dhona. It was 40 of them with keyboard-roll names, teleporting from spot to spot, all in the same FC that had been founded earlier that day(and had 40/41 players online) and also had a jibberish name. Lame. I wont name any names because its against the rules(the irony that im following the rules while i know they dont isnt lost on me), but do an FC search on the Lodestone. Look for closed enrollment and 20-40 players(on some servers they get as high as 80). I found a dozen by simple search on all 6 of the random servers(plus my own) that i just checked. Are they all active? I have no idea, but theyre SO FREAKING EASY to spot! Why is this a thing?

It will be nice the report doing also a temporary block, that clears itself after some time, to avoid the block list being cluttered.
