Naw, Shinryu is fine as-is.

This is such a great fight though, why would you want it nerfed?
To me a nerf is something to be considered if a fight isn't reliably clearable by a static. I've cleared this with a few FC members and the rest via PF and I am by no means hardcore.
I'm sorry you're having bad luck with groups but it doesn't necessitate a nerf to fun, enjoyable content.
Edit: People are having trouble in phase 3, really? I have all my issues in phase 1. As long as I save some healing CD's for the Reiryu in phase 3 I feel like it might be the easiest part of the fight. Not a criticism, just genuinely surprised.

I’ve said it in the other thread and I’ll say it here. For its place in progression and what it yields, the fight is overtuned. I say this as a person in O4S as well. I have no horse in the shinryu race, I don’t need or want the shinryu weapons as they don’t benefit me personally.
But having done the fight (haven’t cleared it yet) I believe it is indeed overtuned for what it yields. In my opinion it’s more difficult than O3S and yields worse rewards. The fight absolutely should be nerfed at least a little.
Can’t edit on mobile, one thing I want to add though. I don’t think the fight is too hard or impossible or whatever. I just think there is an incongruence when it comes to difficulty vs reward.
Shinryu EX is indeed in an odd spot due to it being a huge step up from the previous EX primals, yet not requiring a clear of a comparably difficult fight, as others have mentioned.
That said, I doubt it's much different from how the EX Warring Triad were back in the day.
Nah, Shinryu ex does not need a nerf. It's a good fight, and should stay as it is. In a few month it will be a faceroll anyways. so keep it as it is for the time being
That said, if even I, who is a pretty casual player (meaning I don't raid in a static, don't do savage etc...) can manage to learn and kill this thing with pugs, then farm it successfully and without any remarkable problems, it's a pretty doable fight.
Of course I can relate to the bad feeling of getting bad parties in pf, but the only thing you can do about it is leave the party if you notice that the poeple are for example not concentrated enough or die constantly in p1 in a p3 training or kill party.
I don't wanna say that you have to be an a-hole or mean...no way. I don't support this. But be consequent. That's all.
Me too, Erenville, me too
With how it goes, i wonder if unstead of a nerf it may be even harder, so that the bad people thinking it's easy and wiping you don't even try.
Yeah it's not a kind thing to say but losing so much time trying to farm because some don't give a damn is annoying as hell.

Why do people still insist on doing EX/Savage content with random groups instead of statics and FC's or an LS made for these specific things?
Why can't they? I mean if you have time to sit in a PF then you have time to make an LS specifically for raiding, grab a few people from the FC if you're in one, set up weekly schedules of when you can raid and you're good.
If people could do 40 man content back in the days in WoW with a full guild then there's no reason in this game you can't get 8 people from an LS or FC.
