Real talk, can you imagine how big that nerf football would be, if it scaled with Shin? One throw could level a house @_@
Shinryu is not meant to be farmable by pugs. That's BY DESIGN.
Either get a static group or just accept it that you'll farm other stuff, but not Shinryu.
While there's nothing wrong with being a casual, you can't expect to be able to FARM every content the game has. Some of it was designed for a different crowd.
I think its VERY farmable with PUGs. the only thing that stops my farm parties is someone having to leave after 3ish clears. I've been clearing it 2-5 times a night with my small window of playtime without a static.Shinryu is not meant to be farmable by pugs. That's BY DESIGN.

While I understand the sentiment, it's important to have fights that are challenging for the higher tier players. I think what is more distressing is that the content that is more relevant for lower skill levels is abandoned. A lot of the older trials and raids are easier, mechanic complexity-wise (don't even get me started on the lack of variability in this game). So they're easier to PUG in that regard. But people abandon them because somehow they think old content is less worthwhile than the new.
Of course it's less worthwhile. People go there hundreds of item levels above what the content was design for. I really wish they'd address this. There needs to be some motivation - no matter how small - to make sync the older content. Perhaps add another type of roulette - Extreme Roulette - where you're thrown into older Extreme trials and completing it gives you the same reward as Expert Roulette.
Also make it so that syncing older content gives you an increased drop rate.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Just 1 litte Suggestion.
I would like an option in the duty finder, where you can train specifically P2 (Add phase and everything after). Have been in parties for him the last days and it seems most people can do P1, while having problems with P2. Just a training mode would be fine. You start right with the Adds, you can train, you can kill him, but you DON'T get any loot, you DON'T get the "Kill done" status in pf. It's just for training. And when your are good with P2, you just go from the start and do a regular kill.
It's time to stop. Get gud or get gud.
Seriously, people cried about Royal Menagerie (the last trial of the Stormblood lvl !70! story btw with literally no new mechanics) and now crying about Extreme version. IS IT SUPPOSED to be hard. But it's not hard enough to nerf it.
