I think making a new post talking about why you dislike FFXIV wont help. Most of us don't care what you have to say because we know what wrong and we hear it again and again and again. How about making a topic about what you think ffxiv should have and how they could fix thing not why you think the game is bad. by the way you made your post playing ffxi that long see you don't have patience. I do guildleves and i get one level per day doing link leves with someone else. Top of that i'm only level 44 so it much faster then FFXI. In ffxi you had to be there for 3-6hours looking for party when in ffxi you could easy do guildleves or help others do it or just solo mobs vs waiting in ffxi where you had noting to do but wait.

FFXIV would get better it's just a matter of time so i think for now make topic on how ffxiv can become better not why you think the game is lame i think we all know this,.

So saying your quiting does not help anything maybe you got what i said the wrong way but all i was saying is make a topic on what the game could improve on not why you think the game sucks. What i mean by we don't care because we all know why the game is not good we been knowng this Sense alpha when we talk about it in the alpha/beta forums. It was the same thing on beta that ppl are doing here making pointless topic on why they think the game is not good enough but giving noting on how it could improve on.

If the op look up a few information she/he could know that they fixing 90% of the problem she/he having with the game now.

But FFXIV has a great dev-team behind, even if the game is still a Alpha at the moment.

I feel you Morri-Xen. Nice music link too. I think Naoki Yoshida is going to remake the game into a 2011 game. He's played MMOs this whole time so I have hope for the future. Come back next year and see what he did!

I see where you are coming from and I can agree grinding is outdated, almost like a relic of the past.
In 2000 having a camera on your phone was a big deal, in 2005 having internet access on your phone was a big deal. in 2011 neither of those are a big deal and are almost considered standard features. In 2002-2003 an MMO depending on looooong grind sessions for its content was acceptable but as you said this is 2011. I dont want to pay premium price ($75 for the CE and $12.99 per month) for game play that has been outdated since Nov 23rd 2004.

I hope SE has changed their philosophy since they charged me full retail price for a game they KNEW and have admited since wasnt ready for retail and was barely ready for beta. Time will tell if they truely have or if they are just faking us out again like they did on Sept 30th.
