As far as training dummies go the playing field is already level. You don't need a parser. If you can stomp that dummy in 2:50 and then next time stomp it in 2:30 That is a clearly visible and measurable improvement.

Yay you did it faster! .....how? what did you do that made it faster? That you cleared it faster gives you nothing to work with.
