Free company transfer from congested worlds

A method was going to be introduced to accommodate the transfer of entire free companies and free company housing from congested to non-congested servers. How is a free company server transfer performed?

Unfortunately that's the last they've said on the matter, so to answer your question, right now you can't transfer an FC and we don't know for sure if/when we will.

For one, I doubt most players in the FC would want to transfer. Transferring should be left up to individuals, plus there is no housing available to purchase on any world, so there would be no place to relocate your housing to

That's a dangerous can of worm. I will never trust that kind of decision to my FC.

The little they've said on the matter I've always read it as transferring just the FC (and apparently housing somehow), not the actual members. I really can't see them giving another player the ability to make other players switch server, more likely the master of the FC would be able to move server taking the FC with them (kicking all players at the time who would have to rejoin).

No idea how they'd handle personal rooms though (refunds?) or like Xeon said lack of houses on other servers. I wondered if maybe they'd make it so the FC collapsed into an item (with workshop etc saved) and then if/when you found/acquired a house you could unpack the FC onto that plot (like a delayed relocation). But there's no evidence of any of thing, just me thinking up how it might work.
