What's with all the skirts for male characters?

Come on now, Devs. It's okay to add more vests, tattoos, jackets, etc without feeling like you gotta go that "extra 3% ugly" by adding skirts, side skirts, awkward sashes, and bloated pants thighs.

What are you guys smoking over there in Japan? Go play some more FFVIII and FFXV for some fashion tips.

I thought all the gear in SB so far is a joke. I can't remember the body and legs I had when I was a high 60's DRG, Yanxian maybe? Anyways, it was this long white dress with blue accents. Was terrible. Just terrible.

It's especially annoying, for me, given that so much gear in this game is designed with female character models in mind (230 Primal Gearset, I'm looking at you) so to see so many gear sets this time around, even for melee DPS, being basically dresses, it starts to feel like they don't care about male characters.

If everyone wasnt playing as a female (cat esp....)...maybe they would care more about male characters....

As a female, that plays as a female, most of the skirt options are horrid too and not made for female characters either.

So maybe the issue isnt gender, but overall, bad design. May look cool on paper, but when put in game..... >.>

Some of the gear looks better/worse depending on race....

True! you are a rarity. I did make a male alt to rock in for a while, but your glamour choices......leave alot to be desired.... T.T

I don't know if its just me or not, but there's been a lot of moments where a piece would look pretty cool, but then there is always that 3%-5% of it where I'd go, "if only that one little part wasn't on it, it would be perfect". Its happened enough times for me to realize this.

Need more skirts never enough skirts....I collect skirts and have almost every one in the game that is equip able by males. Skirts, kilts, loincloths and hopefully SE will add Sarongs!

On the other hand, if you dislike looking at a man in a skirt, adjust camera angle, simple.
