Stop calling it a beta

No matter what the community thinks or considers, this game is not a beta. It is now a retail game, that is 100% as complete as other games. It will be upgraded later yes, but all MMO's are continually upgraded. The game developers believe it deserves to be paid for, if you do too, then pay. If not, then don't.

Don't expect extra compensation because you are somehow "altruistic" enough to pay for an incomplete game, because you are not. At this point its just like any other. They are providing you a service, you pay for it. It's selfish to think you deserve an extra prize greater than what you would get with a different game.

Seriously do you storm into gamestop and claim that because you didn't like the game you bought you want a free strategy guide or something?

alpha means that the core structure of the game is being worked on, beta means that the bugs are being fixed.

Was just about to write this. It's currently in an alpha state. Beta is still a ways off and will start with the "free trial" of the PC 2.0 version and will end when it releases on the PS3.

especially since we aren't even playing in the finalized map/zones, battle system is not complete, LS management is not complete(being overhauled). a lot of game mechanics are still being added.
